It is the start of the month of June and Phenom Hoops is INCREDIBLY excited about putting on the JMAC Showcase this weekend! High-level teams will be coming to the Fort Mill area, looking to compete and gear themselves up for a big few upcoming months.
So, lets start looking at a few teams and players to watch for this weekend. Here are a few names to look out for.
Team: Manzer – Martin 15u
0 – (G) Tyron (Cheeks) Miles: Tenacious defender and an excellent motor that will provide plenty of ball pressure to any guard he matches up with. Tyron attends Myrtle Beach High School and played a major role in the successes of his JV team this past season.
1 – (G) Jake Desalvo: Very versatile guard that can play both the point and off guard position. Exceptional at attacking the gaps and finishing at the basket. Attends Myrtle Beach High School.
3 – (PG) Joshua Gunn: Excellent floor general with the ability to control the tempo of the game with his high basketball IQ. Josh is an excellent defender, strong ball handler and much-improved shooter. Josh attends Myrtle Beach High school and finished the season as the backup point guard on the Varsity.
4 – (SG) Xavier Martin: Extremely high basketball IQ with the ability to make shots from beyond the 3pt line. Xavier is a disciplined hardnosed defender that will do whatever is asked for his team. Xavier attends Myrtle Beach High School.
10 – (G) Brody Runser: Solid shooter, high basketball IQ with the ability to make the right decision at the right time. Brody is an excellent teammate that is more interested in winning than anything else. Brody attends Myrtle Beach High School
12 – (F) Sam Jenkins: An absolute beast on the boards and in the paint. Sam runs the court exceptionally well and has a competitive drive not seen by many others his age. Sam
