On Tuesday night, the 3A Division was on display with Terry Sanford taking down South Central 58-50, and West Rowan was able to get by AC Reynolds 66-54.

Starting with Terry Sanford, they are in the championship game for the first time since 2000, as they were able to take control of the game for much of the time in Winston-Salem and secure the victory. Terry Sanford was able to stretch its lead to double-digits in the second half and eventually pull away for the victory, as Amaya Brown led the charge with 16 points, Rebecca Kaba had 14pts/ 10rebs, and Breanna Roaf finished with 13pts/13rebs. Now they look to bring that same energy, led by Roaf and a balanced attack.

But they will be going up against a TOUGH team in West Rowan who rides a 28-win streak and will have a chance to defend their title from last season.  Rowan has been incredible this season, as they knocked off AC Reynolds on Tuesday night. This is a team that brings a lot of offensive firepower, as they have been averaging 77 points per game. Tiara Thompson led the charge on Tuesday with 17 points, while Emma Clarke, Mya Edwards, and Demya Phifer all finished in double-figures.

It surely looks to be a heavy-weight fight in this one, with two of the top teams going at it for a title.
