Year after year, we continue to see players that elevate their game and play, taking their game to another level than years past. One player that we have been watching carefully this season and have seen his game elevate from last year has been 2025 point guard JD Bowden at United Faith.

This season, Bowden has been averaging 15.7ppg, 4.1rpg, and 7.1apg in just under 27 minutes of action, leading his team in several categories. When you watch him in action this year, you can see that he is playing with a different swagger and with a lot more confidence in his ability. Bowden has really elevated as a scoring option, finding ways to be a three-level scorer but also one that surprises you as well. He has terrific athleticism that allows him to finish strong at the rim or finish around defenders. You can also add his ability to create off the dribble and get to his spots inside the arc, as well as his confidence from behind the arc, making Bowden a tough player to slow down as he can hurt you in a variety of ways.

But you also can’t deny his impact in seeing the floor and getting others involved; Bowden sets up his teammates really well, using his speed to attract the defense and finding his teammates in open spots, as well as having strong court awareness out in transition.

One can see that he has been working on his game and the confidence continues to grow with his game. He is now one of the clear leaders on the floor for United Faith, and with his blend of speed, athleticism, creativeness, and scoring impact, Bowden is one that can hurt you in so many ways.
