A name that has been circling around North Carolina lately has been 2021 Aisaiah Phillips at Wesleyan Christian and on the big stage in Greensboro at the Gate City Classic, he showed why.

Phillips started off vs. Glenn scoring the ball in transition and showing that he is a strong lead guard, scoring all three levels. He displayed that he has the mindset and ability to take over a game but also helps his team in other ways to secure a victory… as he mentioned after the game, he just wants to make winning plays.

The point guard has a great pace/feel and control to his game, as well as his athleticism and high IQ on the floor. It is why his stock is continuing to rise in the 2021 class in North Carolina.

Right now, he holds offers from North Carolina A&T and Phillips mentioned that UNCG and Appalachian State have been showing strong interest his way also. He also has had interest from VMI, Virginia Tech, Clemson, UNCW, Cal Berkley, and several others (has made visits to Virginia Tech, UNCG, and North Carolina A&T).
