The #PhenomLadyRumble was a tremendous success and we couldn’t have been more excited to check out the talent throughout the weekend. Though several teams grabbed our attention along with players, the team that simply made a statement and proved themselves as a team to take notice of BIG time was NC Attack 17u.

They walked away with the 17U Girls Championship, defeating a very good Palmetto 76ers A’ja Wilson 17u squad down in South Carolina.

When you look at this team, this is a very balanced team that is made up of scholarship-worthy prospects. This team shares the ball extremely well, they have weapons and shotmakers all over the court, and really mix it up well.

No matter where you look, this is a team that should garner interest from an array of levels of schools. 2025 Ellie Cronin was strong all throughout, knocking down shots with a ton of confidence, and has great size at her position. She has been garnering a lot of interest that should turn into offers this summer. 2026 Summer Lee is another prospect that has the blend of size, skillset, and shot-making ability that college programs would love to have, and she showed that consistently. 2026 Katie Leonard stepped up big, getting to her spots well and being a consistent threat in catch-and-shoot situations or off the bounce. Tessa Gladieux, a 6’0 2026 guard, brings length and can be an effective weapon both offensively and defensively.

And again, the roster simply continues from there as you can have players step up at any time, this is how balanced they are. 2025 Molly Zuburg came up big on several occasions with big shots, showing good range, and the ability to get to her spots.  2026 Claire Barber continues to be a terrific asset on the court, as she plays within the team, makes terrific decisions, competes, and does what is needed for her team, something she showed at the Lady Top 80. 2026 Haara Umenwaliri, a 6’1 prospect, was able to step up on several occasions in using her size to her advantage and being a scoring presence, as well as being effective in a variety of other areas. And lastly, 2027 Jocelyn Gesner is one to keep an eye on with her size at 6’2, her ability to comfortably step out and knock down shots, but also be a forward to operate from multiple levels and impact the game on the boards and other areas.

Overall though, this was a team that impressed throughout the event and Lady Phenom can’t wait to see what this summer has for them down the road. NC Attack 17u should be a team for college coaches to really check out this summer, and they proved that in a big way this past weekend.
