What Was Said at Phenom Challenge:

“Moore was simply off the charts, and I hope this was a wake-up call for schools to pay attention his way more. The 6’7 prospect was lighting it up from all over the court, especially early on showing his range from behind the arc. Shot the ball well, had fluid release, had a ton of confidence, and was also a versatile scorer off the catch or off the bounce. Had it going to start his day.”

Stock Continues to Rise:

2025 6’7 Robert Moore was one player I was eager to watch this weekend down in South Carolina, getting an updated viewing of his game and development. As you can see above, he didn’t disappoint, showcasing some big-time shot-making, stretching the floor, deep range, and playmaking off the bounce to go along with his versatility and size. Moore offers a lot as a prospect with his feel for the game and ability to stretch the defense. He is comfortable in so many areas, excels off the ball in catch-and-shoot situations, but also makes high IQ plays to create for himself or others. We spoke with Moore at the event to learn more about his focus this summer, and he had this to say:

“My focus is for sure to get stronger and improve my defense in my game, while still building upon my offensive tools and skills because I’m going to need that at the next level.”

Moore is one that should see his stock rise both nationally and with college programs of multiple levels.  He offers a lot with his game, is a tremendous player on and off the court, and still has upside left in his game to be a tremendous weapon for a program, which is why I believe this is going to be a huge summer for him. He gave us a glimpse of that at the Phenom Challenge.

Recruitment Update:

Moore had a very good weekend at the Phenom Challenge, as he was able to add another offer to his list. San Jose State is the most recent school to contact him and offer him, as they had this to say his way.

“They told me they had seen a lot of my film from the event and from other tournaments, and they thought I was a Klay Thompson-type player, which I really appreciated.

But this could just be the start of what Moore hopes is a big summer, as schools like California, Boston College, South Carolina, Clemson, Virginia Furman, Appalachian State, and Charleston have been expressing a lot of interest his way.

Before a few coaching changes, Moore held offers from Coastal Carolina, Georgia State, Charleston, and now San Jose State. He also mentioned he would like to take visits to California and Boston College, but no plans have been made yet.
