The Phenom New Year’s Bash was off the charts and so many players stood out throughout the event, but others really opened eyes more about their game, including unsigned senior Xavier Perry from Victory Christian.

The dynamic guard put up impressive numbers throughout the event and was consistent throughout all three games, eventually earning first-team all-tournament honors with his play. When you talk about his game, what really stood out was his ability to create and be such a dynamic scoring option. He showcased his ability to be crafty and creative, making plays with different speeds and from multiple levels. Whether he was knocking down shots from behind the arc consistently, making plays off the dribble and finishing over defenders, or getting to the basket, Perry simply found ways to fill it up. He was strong in his shot creation, played with a ton of confidence, was quick in getting by defenders, and was scrappy on the defensive end as well. Time after time, he impressively led the charge and certainly earned his name as one to really watch more this year for college coaches.
