Game No. 3 on the day, brought us two teams that were looking to make a statement and also be title contenders, as Lake Norman and Cannon went to battle. Lake Norman came out strong early on led by 2025 Tre McKinnon, who set the tone with an impressive throwdown. Their strong play and ability to knock down shots allowed Lake Norman to jump out to a 24-14 first quarter lead.  2024 Austin Swartz and 2025 Isaiah Henry started to settle down and be the strong duo they have been for some time now, as they were able to cut the lead to one possession at halftime, 38-35.

Second half, Lake Norman was able to get back going with McKinnon and 2024 Santana Lynch joining in on the action more, as they continued to bring a strong balance inside and out.  One up three, they were able to push their lead back up to 16 by the end of the third quarter, 65-49.  Lake Norman was able to maintain that lead throughout the fourth quarter and empty the bench, as they went on to win 83-72.
