We were coming down in the NCHSAA playoffs, as Salisbury and Reidsville battled it out in the Elite Eight. It was a slow game for much of the first half, with plenty of fouls to go around for both teams. Both teams were tied up at 11 at the end of the first quarter, but 2026 Dionte Neal was the one player that came out strong with nine points in the first quarter. But Salisbury was able to slow down the pace and make it tough for Reidsville in the second quarter, as they took a 20-15 halftime lead. In the second half, around the five-minute mark, 2024 Juke Harris picked up his fourth foul which certainly changed the game up, as Neal went off for a quick 8-0 run to give his team the lead. He continued his strong play, finishing with 13 points in the quarter to give Reidsville a 37-27 lead after three. Even though Harris did what he could when he got back in the fourth quarter, Reidsville was able to make enough plays from Neal and 2026 Kendre Harrison in the fourth, eventually sealing the win from the line.
