One team that we were certainly excited about seeing once again was 1of1 Academy, a team that we have seen quite a bit over the season but it is always fun to see the development of the players with this team. When you talk about this team though, there is plenty of talent that you will be hearing about in the upcoming classes, as well as a few veterans that have shined as well.
But when you dive into just how young this team is, and the level that they are playing at this season, you have to be impressed with how these youngsters have stepped up and accepted the challenge, which is why we are going to dive into the roster a bit more.
One of the lone veterans on the team is 2024 Sebastian Akins, who came up BIG on Day 1 at the Phenom Prep Showcase. Akins is a 6’1 guard that possesses a well-rounded game but can elevate to another level when needed. He is able to showcase his balance in managing the team, but also score in a variety of ways when needed; he is a tough guard.
