2024 Zion Walker has been a common name in North Carolina and has been a critical piece for the success at The Burlington School.  The NC guard has continued to build on his game and had a strong summer playing with Team Curry but is now focusing once again on the upcoming season and earning another title.  Walker discusses with Phenom Hoops how his game has developed this summer, his experience with Team Curry, and all the latest in his recruitment.

Phenom: How did everything go this summer for you with Team Curry and all those guys'
Walker: It was great! I was surrounded around a lot of great players and great coaches.  I was able to build relationships that I would never think I would have with the player and coaches on and off the court.  It also taught me how to play through adversity.

Phenom: How do you think your game improved this summer'
Walker: I felt like I improved more on my point guard skills like I increased my ability in handling the ball under pressure and making better reads on the floor.  Also, I felt like I definitely increased my intensity level on defense.  Just increased my overall game with more rebounds, being aggressive on the glass more, and getting more steals.

Phenom: What is your mindset now being a leader again at TBS'
Walker: I have to lead by example, both on and off the court.  Also, by staying positive, working hard and staying humble to get that state championship this year for the 3-peat and then next year for the 4-peat.  Got to keep that TBS name at the top and keep Bernardi
