Lady Phenom is hoping to shed more light on players around the state, as we look at several young rising prospects.  It was a tremendous season for several freshmen in the state of North Carolina, and we are eager to see how they continue to develop.

This time around, we look at a young guard from North Gaston in 2027 JaLeila Littlejohn.  She had a big-time season in leading the way for her school and she looks to be a building block for something special down the road for the program. Littlejohn consistently showed her offensive scoring impact, making plays off the dribble but also being a big threat as a shooter. She gets to her spots and knows how to be the go-to offensive scorer, as her stats this season back it up. Averaging 18.9 points per game, she shot 35 percent from the floor and ended the season in hitting 46 three-pointers on the season, just under 30 percent from behind the arc.

There are still areas of improvement and with her being so young, she has plenty of time to continue her development but she clearly made a name for herself early on. But she makes an impact on the court, not just scoring but also rebounds, competing, and making plays on both sides of the court.
