The season has come to an end for many around the country, including here in North Carolina but that just gives us time to look back and reflect on a few teams and programs. One of those programs that deserve the spotlight has to be the Liberty Heights program, as they brought two teams to the national spotlight, and both had historic seasons to remember.

Starting with the Liberty Heights National team under head coach Mike Wright, they were able to finish the season with 30 wins which included wings against Moravian Prep, Combine Academy, National Christian, Word of God, Blue Ridge, Our Savior Lutheran, and TSF, while also winning Beach Ball Classic and most recently Big Shots Prep Nationals. They have also put several players on the map for college coaches, as they will certainly be some of the most targeted players left remaining in the class of 2022, along with a national recruit in Silas Demary Jr. who is part of the class of 2023.  This was a program that embraced competition and came out to prove that they were worthy of being a nationally ranked program and they did just that.  Led by their leader in Coach Wright, this was a team that played hard every night, produced as a team, and truly modeled the word
