It seems each year, there always is a new name that is heading to Virginia to play under legendary head coach Steve Smith and for Oak Hill. It seems like they already have a new name coming in, as 2022 Judah Mintz announced on Monday that he would be taking his talents there and joining the program.
So of course, we had to dive in a little more about the new face in the Oak Hill jersey.
Mintz is a combo guard that gets to the basket, finishes at the rim, and simply loves the mid-range game. He is also one that is able to step out and knock down the three, as well as make an impact on the defensive end.
The junior guard is coming from Gonzaga, where he averaged 16 points in a shortened season.
Mintz is really excited about the opportunity to put on the jersey next season, as he hopes to learn more under Coach Smith and continue to develop his game.
