The last ten months have been absolutely crazy for travel and high school basketball between the constantly changing Covid protocols, kids infecting others, and cities/states being shut down for extended periods of time. We can pretend that everyone is at an equal disadvantage this season, but folks can easily see know how public-school programs are having much more difficulty overall than the private or independent classifications. Not only are they dealing with no physical interaction with college coaches (along with all types of schools), but their season has been shortened after ending the previous year prior to crowning any state champions. Add in the fact that various travel-ball programs shut down for the summer and players like Chase Lowe have been seemingly recreated their identity from scratch.
Previously, Lowe was widely viewed as a strong, energetic, downhill wing prospect who thrived off of penetration opportunities, moving without the ball, and doing the little things.
