The NCHSAA Brackets were released on Sunday night, which you can find here (Click Link). With the matchups released, it is always fun to take a look at a few intriguing battles that will be taking place in the first round of the playoffs. Here are a few we are looking at in the 1A.
Mount Airy vs. Cherryville
Mount Airy finished the season with a 15-9 record and earned a No. 11 seed in the 1A bracket. But now they have to face Cherryville who averages 74 points and is led by senior Lane Harrill who is averaging nearly 32 points, 13 rebounds per game this season.
