Combine Academy captures 63-45 win over Liberty Heights
Phenom Hoops travelled to Lincolnton, North Carolina to cover a key match-up between two of the top non-association teams in the state. Liberty Heights came into the contest with a 13-5 record while Combine Academy sported a 16-8 record. Both teams have played a tough and challenging national schedule and the game at Combine Academy was a precursor of the inaugural Phenom Hoop State Championship that will be held March 5-7.
Combine Academy moves to 17-8 and will probably go into the Phenom Hoop State Championship as the number two seed. Coach Jeff McInnis had to be pleased with the overall performance of his young and talented team as 11 different players got into the scoring act.
