While it’s not applicable to everyone, the additional granted...

Dawkins’ Day Two Standouts: Queen City Showcase

DeAjai Dawkins’ Day Two standouts  6’2 2024 Zion Walker (CP3 2024)  In my opinion, every selfless high school athlete should have a default aspiration for their high school career; winning a state championship. For 2024 Zion Walker, he was able to cross that goal off his list early-on, as The Burlington School completed their marvelous journey toward hardware during the 2020-2021...

Austin Johnson 2021 6’9 Sincere Malone (Carolina Basketball Academy): First time getting to watch Malone and he brings a lot of intrigue with his versatility, ability to handles, and ability to operate on multiple levels on the court.  He excelled in pushing the basketball up the court and getting around defenders to finish at the rim. He holds offers already and has been receiving interests as...

POB’s Eye Catchers: Halloween Havoc/ HoopState League (Part 2)

2021 Brandon Cherry (Full Court): Cherry plays with a really good, natural feel for the game on the court.  He doesn’t force things on the court that aren’t there, plays with a nice pace and with his head up, looks to find his teammates but also shows a smooth jumper. 2022 Landon King (Patriots): King is a name that should catch on more in the Charlotte area for Independence. He was able to...
