Phenom Hoops continues to add professionals with a wide range of experiences to the already outstanding team.  We are pleased to welcome former McDonald All-American Tyler Lewis to Phenom Hoops. Tyler brings his wealth of knowledge as a player, recruiter and scout to Phenom. Tyler acquired a variety of skills while building his impressive basketball resume. He began his basketball success at Oak Hill Academy while leading them to a perfect 44-0 season and the National High School Championship. Tyler was named a McDonald All-American and then followed up that honor by attending North Carolina State University for two years before transferring to Butler University for his final two years of eligibility.

Tyler had the unique experience of participating in the NCAA Tournament all four years and with two different programs during his college career. The highlight of his four years included an appearance in the Sweet 16 eventually losing to the national champions, The University of North Carolina. After graduating from Butler University with a degree in Marketing, Tyler had the privilege of being on the coaching staff at Furman, East Carolina, and most recently served as the Director of Basketball Operations at Elon University. Tyler will bring a wealth of basketball knowledge and expertise as he assumes the role of Vice President of Phenom Hoops. Tyler will join forces with his brother Colby Lewis in expanding the NCAA compliant scouting service and continuing to cultivate relationships with college, high school and travel programs throughout the region.
