Lavar Batts Sr. and Jay M. Robinson was one of our next gyms Phenom Hoop Report headed out to, part of our Open Gym Tour. After finishing last year 9-17, the Bulldogs look to show improvement with more experience.

Watching this team, they show tremendous versatility on the floor, with everyone being able to push the ball, defend, and be a primary ball-handler on offense. But looking at each player, each one brings a unique skill set to the table, as the Bulldogs look to make noise in the South Piedmont conference as well as around the state of North Carolina.

2020 G Josh Abee

A transfer from Northwest Cabarrus, Abee brings a high IQ, a great feel as a point guard, and experience to the table. On the floor, he was able to pick his spots to attack, was patient with the ball, and carried a fantastic mid-range shot. He also displayed that he will be one of several ball handlers that can push the pace or set up in the halfcourt. Already holding offers from Rice, Brevard and Mount Olive, Abee looks to continue to showcase his talent at a high level.
