Q: What ultimately went into your decision and what were the reasons Winthrop was the place for you'
Talford: The main reason was my comfort level with the players and coaches. And another reason was that I was close to home.
Q: How did you inform the staff there'
Talford: I called them and said that I really liked the atmosphere and that I would like to further my basketball career at Winthrop.
Q: What did they have to say when you told them'
Talford: They were really excited when I called and the coached staff congratulated me.
Q: What are you hoping to bring to the program on the court'
Talford: I want to bring everything I possibly can and do everything to the best of my ability.
