What an action packed day 1. With games starting at 1120, by 11 there was already a line of college coaches out the door and we were able to maintain between 60 and 125 coaches in the gym at all times throughout day 1.

What an action packed day 1. With games starting at 1120, by 11 there was already a line of college coaches out the door and we were able to maintain between 60 and 125 coaches in the gym at all times throughout day 1. With Head Coaches from the likes of South Carolina, Virginia Tech, Clemson, George Mason, Winthrop and others sitting courtside the action was non-stop.

The list of top players could have easily topped 15, but we did our best to get it down to 5 (and 5 more)…Here are 5 MORE to know.

6’7 ’18 Jalen Slawson
TMP (SC)

The light is coming on for the toolsy Jalen Slawson. Possessing great size to go along with length, range and athleticism, it is all coming together as evidenced by his 6 Division 1 offers over the last week. After his performance last night App St jumped in, expect that to continue as there is a lot to like with this hybrid 3/4

6’8 ’18 Hunter Tyson
CP3 (NC)

Tyson is a high level player. His last two offers picked up here Michigan and Butler and the multi NCAA Tournament win, top 25 programs seem about right for top 100 type prospect. He is a big wing who can stretch out to play some 4 in small ball situations. Tyson is a tough rebounder, handles the ball well in the half court, shoots it with range and consistency, and is athletic. Clemson and Tennessee (both in attendance Thursday) have been the HMs on him the longest.

6’4 ’18 Trey Cousin
Mid State Magic (NC)

Cousin continues to put up massive numbers on the travel ball circuit as the 6
