The state of North Carolina is blessed with an overabundance of talent. In the North Carolina 2018 class, 60 plus players signed with D1 schools and another 40 plus signed to play at the D2, D3, NAIA or Juco level. Quite impressive numbers! This year, the 2019 class is on the same course to have 100 plus players continue to play at the collegiate level.  In this edition we’re going to take a look at 6’0 Combo Guard Thomas Miles of Freedom Christian Academy in Fayetteville, NC.  Thomas Miles is someone I feel is a next level prospect, and he deserves some recognition in this edition of our Unsigned Senior Series.

Thomas Miles transferred over to Freedom Christian after his Junior Season at Kerr-Vance academy and has played an integral role in them getting the 3 seed in the NCISAA 2A Classification.  He’s a player that is willing to fit in by whatever means necessary with his only hope furthering his teams success.  He can play both backcourt spots with the ability to initiate offense or get scorching hot from the perimeter playing off the ball.  Miles, Brandon Murray, and Manny Alverado coexist in that Freedom backcourt in an excellent way.  They’ve all bought in to what coach Anquell McCollum is saying and it should lead to their success in the playoffs, and at the next level respectively.
