HIGHLIGHTS: Independence vs Porter Ridge; Patriots Improve to 2-0 at Home with 76-61 Win

In our second game of the night at Independence, as the Patriots took on Porter Ridge. Both teams came in with some intriguing talent, but it was the scrappiness and balanced attack from Indy that helped secure the 76-61 victory at home to remain undefeated to start the season. Phenom Open Gym: Independence

Continuing our Phenom Open Gym Tour, Patrick O’Brien went down to Independence high school who is coming off a 22-8 season last year. Coach Davis will have a different looking team than last year, as they will be more of a guard-oriented team that looks to play fast, create havoc defensively, and attack. But it will also be a team mentality, as they have options as far as scorers and will have to help get on the boards.
