2024 Kyrell Shaw (Northside Christian): He continues to be the leader of this group and time after time, he steps up as an offensive option, showing his ability to score in a variety of ways. Can score from outside like he has shown in the past but uses his length well to get to the rim consistently as well.

2026 Trey Jones (Cardinal Gibbons): Jones led the charge for Cardinal Gibbons, and this will be a team to closely watch with the young talent they have leading the charge. Jones brings size and ability to create, finishing strong over defenders and scoring from multiple levels. He led the way with 22 points in impressive fashion, along with his other sophomore teammate Aidan Smalls with 17 points.

2024 Armani Henderson (Bull City Prep): Henderson has been a guard who has put on a show before, but it was his overall impact that was the highlight on Day 1. Scoring and using his speed to attack and score, his activity defensively to create steals, and also rebounding well as well as facilitating. Had a solid overall performance in leading the charge in an impressive fashion for Bull City Prep today.

2024 Damani Day (West Charlotte): The senior and leader on the team, Day stepped up like he has down so in the past, hitting big threes in situations but also creating off the bounce, finishing strong off the dribble, and attacking to score or get to the line. Finished with 18 points to lead his team.

2026 Elijah Littlejohn (West Charlotte): Littlejohn, who holds multiple P5 football offers, was impressive with his dominance on the boards, racking up 20 rebounds and being extremely physical on the court. Loved his energy, his willingness to fight, and his strength in his role.

2026 Zamarius Gladen (Huss): Gladen impressed with his showing on both ends. He was able to use his quickness to score off the bounce on occasions, he attacked and helped on the boards, and really liked his energy on the defensive end at times as well. He helped lead a balanced attack for Huss.

2024 Gabriel Mabor (Gaston Christian): Last year, it was a breakout-type event for him. And he did it once again; he must love playing here at Chambers, as he finished with 24 points and 18 rebounds on Day 1. He was absolutely dominant, both offensively and defensively. Scored inside strong, was all over the glass, and also racked up 6 blocks as well defensively.

2024 Langston Boyd (Mallard Creek): Boyd continues to thrive in the areas he has consistently shown over the years. He is a strong and physical guard who attacks downhill, brings athleticism to the table in finishing at the rim, and excels in getting to his spots to knock down jumpers, especially from the mid-range area. He led the charge for his team today.

2025 JD Bowden (United Faith): Bowden stepped up when his team needed him, as he scored 19 of his 22 points in the second half. He was more aggressive, was active on both ends, used his speed to create along with his quick handles and footwork, but also knocked down big open shots outside as well.

2027 Parker Watkins (Hickory Ridge): Watkins is an impressive freshman that you should start to know and learn about. He plays with a strong IQ and feel, not afraid of the bright moments, has a quick memory, is active on defense without fouling, and is excellent in getting inside the defense and finishing as well as his jumper.

2024 Xavier Perry (VCCS): Perry was the leader tonight for his team, as he came out early to show his shot-making and range, and continued that throughout the game. But he also plays with tremendous pace, change of direction, and can get by defenders by showing his floater over defenders as well.

2024 Maurio Hanson (Chambers): We are sounding like a broken record but we are going to keep saying. Hanson is such an intriguing forward with how well he moves, his ability to run the floor, his excellent court vision and awareness, his footwork and ability to create down in the paint, and how strong he competes on the boards as well. He provides a lot for this team, and he showed that on his way to scoring his 1,000th-point on Day 1.
