2027 George Johns (Bricksquad Monopoly):

Johns was a new name to learn about but each time we watched him, he brought intrigue with his game and length. Really liked his blend of size and mobility around the basket, has good length overall that he should continue to grow into, was active around the basket and finished with touch, and was strong on the glass.

2027 Lusemo Macharia (Future Prep):

Once again, Macharia is one who was able to assert himself and present himself as a prospect to watch in the coming years. The 6’6 prospect has a frame that has to excite you already and he is only getting better with his feel for the game. He is comfortable in a variety of areas on the court, active and moves well, is a strong finisher yet still has a blossoming offensive skillset that should only allow him to be an even tougher matchup.

2027 CP Perry (Carolina Riptide):

Perry has had a really good month or so, and he was able to flourish once again on the big stage. Perry has an interesting skillset and understanding of the game, really flourishing as a playmaker, understanding how to operate and see the floor, picks his spots to either attack or knock down shots, but also is a strong playmaker in finding teammates.

2027 Colton Kreger (Next Level Elite):

Kreger was a name that popped up on several occasions at the event. He was a consistent offensive threat on the floor, plays with a ton of confidence for a young rising prospect, has a fluid release that allows him to hurt you from a variety of levels, has a good IQ and shot selection in his game, and he has continued to get better and stronger with his game.

2027 Jamarious Toney (Mid-State):

Toney was a new name that grabbed our attention when watching him. He has a long frame at an early age but I couldn’t help but notice his motor and impact on the court. The young man just worked hard, was active and engaged on the glass, created second-chance opportunities, and just found ways to finish or get to the line consistently.

2027 Zakarion Simpson (SC Upstate):

Simpson would be a player to watch out for in South Carolina. He has a lot of intriguing qualities with his game but one can also see that if he continues to develop, he could be even better. Simpsons has the length, motor, and skillset to be a strong prospect, especially as he continues to get bigger. But he really showed flashes of his feel, his comfort level with the ball in his hands, his impact on both ends and his motor when watching him.
