2024 Austin Swartz continues to be a hot topic for many around the country, and is a prime target in the class of 2024 for several college programs. His recruitment continues to rise week after week, and Phenom Hoops discusses with him on the latest offer from Tennessee.

Swartz recently took a visit to Knoxville, as he got a first-hand look at what the program has to offer, and he came away impressed and also with an offer from the Vols. We spoke to him about his thoughts and the latest.
Phenom: Thoughts on the offer from Tennessee? What do you like about the program?
Swartz: It was good. I had a great time at the game and it was good to go over how they play with Coach Gainey. We went over the offense and defense, I got to see their shoot-around, and how they prepare for games. Coach Barnes is great, and he puts guys in the NBA everywhere he has been. I feel like I’ll be able to show all my talents there and push me to be the best version of myself.”
Phenom: What did the staff have to say when they offered you?
Swartz: You would be a great fit here.
Phenom: What excites you about that program and what kind of relationship have you been able to build with them?
Swartz: What excites me is they are one of the best teams in the country and they play on the high stage. Coach Gainey and I have a good relationship and trying to make it great.”
Phenom: Any more upcoming visits?
Swartz: I have an official visit to Illinois after the season.
