Thomas/ Roman Tut

At the Phenom Queen City Showcase, several eyes were watching the WV Generals 2022 team and they should have been.' This is a program that has talent at multiple levels and at multiple positions; college coaches should definitely be making this a program a priority.

When you start with this program, you look at 2022 6'10 Thomas Tut.  Tut is from Belfry high school and captured the eyes of many on the court, with scouts fully knowing this is a Division I player that should have college coaches coming his way. Tut (who was also listed as Roman Tut) has a ton of intrigue to his game with his ability to create for himself off the dribble, along with his size.  He brings a ton of versatility to the floor, rebounding on one end and taking it full court to finish at the other.  Tut's ability to impact the floor can easily be seen, along with his ability to play multiple positions.  Right now, he has been garnering interest from schools in the ACC, Conference USA, and Big 12.

Then you look at 2022 6'6 Austin Ball, who is a long and active prospect on the court.  Our very own, Khalil Shakir, had this to say watching courtside at the Phenom Queen City.

'Uses his length well to disrupt passes and block shots. Played well in transition and looked to finish at and above the rim, had a few big dunks. Invites contact and lives at the free-throw line. Can shoot the ball well off of the catch and showed a consistent range from three. Attacked the boards with intensity and rebounded at a high rate for his size. Has the potential to play multiple positions. College Coaches should definitely take notice!'

Right now, Ball has been hearing from several schools from Conference USA, Big 10, Big 12, ASUN, and the ACC and offers could be coming quickly for him.

On to the biggest prospect on the team, 2022 7'3 Bol Kuir from Belfry HS.' Kuir came through the Phenom Hoops Tennessee 150, as we got a glimpse of what the long big man could bring to the floor.' He obviously brings tremendous height but also mobility to the floor, along with a tremendous wingspan that makes him an automatic shot blocker on the defensive end.' Offensively, he displayed that he is continuing to develop his overall feel for the game, working and showing off his hands and touch around the rim.' But again, you can't teach 7'3 and that alone should have coaches looking his way.' Right now, schools from the SEC and Conference USA are showing interest his way.

Then you have players such as 2022 Jayden Nervis, who is a 6'6 prospect that brings tremendous athleticism and scoring ability to from multiple levels. He will be a name to get on as he makes his mark in Ohio for Hillard Davidson HS. Nervis has interests coming from the MAC and Big South right now.

Ayden Ince, a 6'6 prospect from Beckley Prep (earning interest from the Big South and MAC), Brady Bell, a 6'6 prospect from Russell HS (receiving interest from the ASUN), Sai Dean, a 5'11 2023 player from Belfry HS (interest from Ohio Valley), and 6'2 Hunter Castleberry (D2 interests) round out a loaded program that has talent all over the court.
