Phenom Hoops works to assemble articles centered around unsigned senior prospects. Last season, hundreds of players from North Carolina went on to play at the Division I, II, III, or NAIA levels, and that number looks likely to continue increasing with the current senior class. We continue to look at players that are underrated but deserve attention from college programs, as we take a look at 2025 Chandler Kennedy from Carmel Christian.

Kennedy is one of those guards that you simply have to like in what he provides. He is a lead guard who has a nice blend of running the show as well as being a scorer for his team. One thing you will get from this young man is being a leader on the court. Kennedy’s impact can be felt in so many ways, as he brings a ton of energy and is competitive both offensively and defensively. At his size, he does a great job in using his speed and ability to score over defenders when attacking as well as being a perimeter threat. Defensively, he can make his impact as an on-ball defender, one that can create turnovers and play with a scrappy feel, which ultimately turns into offense the other way. Kennedy just finds ways to make plays and bring good value to the court, something that a college program could certainly use.

What Was Said:

“Kennedy is one of the senior guards that I really enjoy and believe he could be such a terrific steal for a future program, especially with the tenacity and energy he plays with. Kennedy is one that plays bigger than his size, using his quickness to create and get by defenders, attack well off the dribble, play within the offense, and knock down open shots. But his impact on the defensive end maybe even more impressive, playing scrappy defense and getting into opponents to create havoc. His impact can be felt in a variety of ways, and I think that it could translate well to the next level.”
