6'11 Noah Cummings transferred into Dwight Miller's Cape Fear Christian program in September 2015. Coach Miller stated, 'In workouts, you quickly realize he can do all the big things you want to see from a big man (pass, mid-range jumper, superior post moves) however he could improve his conditioning. Noah is a low D1 recruit that needs a potential redshirt year to help him develop especially getting into better shape. He is an excellent passer in the post and knows how to bang. Noah has really good hands for a big man. He has continued to develop at Cape Christian and has worked hard to get better.'

There's an old basketball saying, 'You can't teach size.' For Noah Cummings, he has the size with an improving skill set. He has passer friendly hands and solid footwork in the post. What Noah Cummings needs is time and a full time conditioning program to get him to the level he can play. Without question, Noah is a work in progress and some lower tier D1 or D2 program might want to take a chance and redshirt him his freshman year. The potential and upside is there.
