Opportunity is one of the most surefire methods for determining how effective a player can be, both in the present day and into the future. With public schools having uncertainty about games or outright cancelling their season, guys like LeBron Thomas are strapped in terms of options. However, the point guard prospect recently made his move from Lee Central to Trinity Byrnes, and it should be a perfect marriage for both sides. But why'

Dating back to his middle-school days, Thomas has always been comfortable at running a team and deferring to others as a true floor general. He displayed a calm, unfazed demeanor at all times but his actual toughness and on-court understanding is what made him such a killer. Thomas made his mark as an elite passing threat with incredible vision, ball-handling skills, and the necessary instincts to dominate his assignment defensively. He remained in stride and never turned back, entering high school alongside his (prolific scoring) older cousin in Daveon Thomas and being an immediate impact player for Lee Central. Although other notable travel programs vied for Thomas' services, he kept his loyalty to Florence International.

This summer, Thomas collected his first two offers, from USC Upstate and Bryant. While this should be considered extremely positive, it should be noted that Bryant has offered around fifty other point guards in his class. Regardless, Thomas just recently made his move to Trinity Byrnes and took place in his first competition setting with the new group. Due to his abilities, one could assume that he'd be a major piece simply upon entering the gym. But few probably anticipated pure dominance as the clear two-way leader of the team. That's exactly what Thomas did, setting the tone, leading by example in every facet, and rising up throughout crunch time. He hit three-pointers, attacked the basket at will, set up others at a strong rate, and offered his normal amount of peskiness on defense.'It's still early, but pretty easy to see how seamlessly Thomas is going to fit with his new-look operation. One should expect him to continue turning heads and gaining traction with college coaches as a focal point for Trinity Byrnes.'
