What Does this Mean for Washington:

It was a good day for Washington, as they landed their second Top 100 prospect in the Class of 2025 with JJ Mandaquit.  The 6’1 point guard looks to be the future in leading the charge for the Huskies, as he joins fellow Top 100 prospect in 2025 Courtland Muldrew. Mandaquit decided to choose Washington over USC, Louisville, California, Hawaii, Tennessee, Creighton, BYU, and Virginia.

Mandaquit gives Washington its future floor general, as he is a high IQ, reliable point guard that has played in several big-time events, including USA Basketball. He sets the tone really well and brings value as a leader on the court. Though he may not blow you away with his athleticism or speed, he brings tremendous value with his pace, his feel, and his overall feel. Mandaquit does a great job in finding ways to create for himself and others, playing with a smooth feel, seeing the floor, showing his court awareness, and his ability to be a true floor general.  Big get for the Huskies in the Class of 2025.
