It's getting that time of year. College prospects have made decisions, and the schools who were left out are scrambling to find players to fill out their rosters. The late signing period, every year, is a mad dash. Being the premier scouting outfit throughout the North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia regions, we figured we would do our little bit to help and point some college coaches the way of a few players they should be looking at.

Here is our first listing of some Unsigned Seniors to watch.

Tyler Maye

6'1' Tyler Maye of Farmville Central (NC)
Maye has been lighting the nets on fire at Farmville Central High School for the previous 2 seasons. In fact, he just eclipsed the 1,000 point mark in only 40 games. Over the last two years, Maye's team is 45-5 with a state championship in hand. Maye is averaging close to 25 points per game over that same period. Currently he has offers from the likes of Charlotte, Coastal Carolina, Kennesaw St, and others.

5'11 Pinky Wiley of LC Bird (VA)
If a battle tested, proven leader and winner is your thing (and I am sure it is) Wiley is your kind of guy. Tough and sturdy, he has played on the biggest stages on the Adidas Gauntlet and in state championships for his high school. Each time he has come out a success. Further showing his toughness, Wiley event played football this year, where he naturally excelled. Still available, Wiley has led LC Bird to a 32-3 record over the last two years averaging 10 points (46.5 FG%), 2.6 boards, 5.3 assists, and 2.1 steals per game.

6'2 Tariq Simmons of Keenan (SC)
Simmons, just like Wiley and Maye, is a winner. He has done so at the highest level on the Adidas Gauntlet and deep playoff runs with his high school team. A four year varsity starter on his high school team, Simmons has amassed an incredible 71-28 high school record. Over his last three years, he has averaged 17.2 points (45.5 FG%), 3.6 boards, 2.9 assists, and 2.1 steals per game. Throughout the process he has picked up offers from the likes of Winthrop, College of Charleston, Georgia Southern and others.

JJ Miles

6'6 JJ Miles of Northhampton County (NC)
Maybe one of the more unknown players we will list, Miles did not play big time AAU ball and plays for a small 1A high school that is off the beaten path. However, that has not deterred Miles from putting up monster stats, last year as a junior Miles averaged 27 points, 10 boards, and 4 assists per game. This year, he has upped those numbers to 30 points, 15 boards, and 7 assists. He has great size and is a big time shot creator, with abilities at all 3 levels. Throughout the process, Miles has picked up offers from the likes of Cincinnati, Buffalo, Rhode Island and Rider.

6'6 Mike Barfield Owens of Bishop Sullivan (VA)
Talk about a player who walks onto the court and just gets it done, Barfield Owens is a tough guy'a winner. You can mark him down for a double/double the second he walks onto the floor. Last season, at Princess Anne High School, Barfield Owens averaged 21 points and 10 boards. He is ridiculously under the radar, but certainly a tough kid who will win you ball games at the D1 level.
