At the beginning of each new year, Phenom Hoops works to assemble a series of articles centered around unsigned senior prospects. Last season, hundreds of players from the region went on to play at the Division I, II, III or NAIA levels, and that number looks likely to continue increasing with the current senior class. Typically, we take a closer look at guys who are overlooked and underrated, and today's edition will highlight Greg Moore of Knoxville Central High School and Team Passion (TN).

We've seen Moore numerous times with Team Passion, including on our in-depth look at the roster, where we stated, 'Alongside Neal in the backcourt, Greg Moore was arguably the most impressive shooter in attendance at Phenom Summer Havoc. He's a fairly thin off-guard, but possesses absolutely exceptional instincts as a spot-up threat and overall shooter. Moore is very poised and moves as well as anyone without the ball. He possesses deep range, repeatable shot mechanics, and the ability to heat up in a hurry from beyond the arc. Moore hit six or more three-pointers in at least five of their games this weekend, which should certainly appeal to college coaches.' He was later featured on our 'Summer Havoc Live Superlatives: Best Shooter,' where we stated, 'This superlative could go to a variety of guys, but no prospect was as consistent as Moore. He is an absolute sniper that knows how to move and setup without the ball, which frequently highlights his spot-up ability. Moore hit six or more three-pointers in three consecutive contests while showing off-the-bounce capabilities.'

Although wiry and somewhat slight in frame, Moore has stretched out noticeably over the last few years. He's grown at least two or three inches while maintaining his status as an elite three-point shooter and overall spot-up threat from beyond the arc. That being said, Moore has also shown IQ, toughness, athleticism, and the ability to effectively attack closeouts throughout his recent progression. In a time where shooting, specifically from distance, is the most important skill in basketball, Moore should have a slew of opportunities. He's continued to showcase his abilities as an unsigned senior with Team Passion, so it'll be exciting to see what programs get involved going forward.
