While Luke Romeo was injured part of his senior season, he put together a nice career stat line. He averaged 10.9 PPG, 3.5 RPG, and 2 APG for Green Hope High School in Cary, North Carolina. He is a 90% free throw shooter and shot an impressive 40% from the 3-point line and 48% from the field.

Luke is playing for the USA United 17U team and is averaging 13.7 PPG, 5 RPG, and 3 APG. More importantly, he is shooting a spectacular 52% from the 3-point line.

Luke is an 'all effort player' that can simply shoot the cover off the ball. He has tremendous range and is very effective off the 'catch and shoot' situation. His shot has good arch and excellent backspin and rotation. While he is effective in the 'catch and shoot,' Luke also has the ability to create his own shot off the dribble.

We have always been impressed with his toughness and grit. He is a cagey scoring guard that competes and plays with maximum effort. Luke has a high basketball IQ and plays extremely well within the team structure. Luke also sports a 3.1 GPA, which illustrates his work in the classroom. Due do his injury his senior season, Luke went under the recruiting radar. That being said, shooters translate at every level and D2 and D3 schools that need a high level shooter should give him a serious look.
