School: Porter Ridge

2022-23 Stats: So far this season through 19 games, Harris has been playing at a high level at Porter Ridge. So far this season, Harris is averaging 25.9 points, 6.7 rebounds, 4.4 assists, and 2.9 steals per game.  He is shooting 51 percent from the floor and 32 percent from three as well.  His numbers have only continued to improve over the years; as a sophomore he averaged 4.2ppg and as a junior, he posted averages of 13.7ppg.

Harris has been having a terrific season, racking up multiple 40-point games and scoring the ball extremely effectively for Porter Ridge. The senior guard has been a standout on multiple occasions before, as his smooth pace and feel have stood out several times, as well as his shiftiness in attacking, getting into the paint, and displaying good athleticism on the court.

We also spoke with Coach Pena with ACE Elite for more on his game as well, and here is what he had to say:

“I see him a tough as nails 2-way player. Really physical defender, pressuring the ball into forcing bad passes or just taking it from them. Has great instincts in the passing lane. Offensively he is a mismatch problem for guards. If you put someone small on him, he is going to put muscle you in the post. If you put someone bigger on him he is quick and shifty enough to get by them and finish at the rim. Kind of old school style, and loves that kid range area. Wants to play against the best because he knows he will benefit from it.”
