We’ve been tracking 6’4 2019 Tyler Dearman for quite some time. He had a great junior season for Southern Guilford and has gained a lofty reputation for being on the state’s better perimeter shooters. Known for his ability to hit 3-pointers with consistency, Tyler has worked hard to enhance his overall skill set. Now, he is a legitimate scorer from all three levels on the court. This past weekend at the Grassroots TOC, Tyler led the NC Top Flight to a 2-2 record and put up big numbers as well. For the tournament, Tyler averaged 23.3 PPG, however this is nothing new. In our earlier Phenom Opening in March, Tyler erupted for 36 points including nine made 3-pointers. The long armed shooting guard has a knack for scoring and his effortless approach on the court should be quite appealing to D2 and D1 programs. He is a knock down shooter and his game just keeps getting better and better each and every outing.
