North Meck has been a hotbed for talent and it seems to be that way again this year.  Even with the losses the Vikings had from last year’s team, they reload and new names that step up and grab the attention of college coaches.

2022 Jordan Crawford is one of the next guards for North Meck that has been impressive this fall and winter with his play.  It is why it seemed like only a matter of time until college coaches started to come his way.  Well, over the weekend, Crawford earned his first offer from UNCW and then backed it up with his second from Hofstra.

“I feel thankful and blessed to have received these two offers,” Crawford told Phenom Hoops.  “It shows me that the work I’ve been putting in is paying off but also that I can’t just be satisfied with this.  I still have a lot of work to do.  These were just more motivation for me to continue to push myself.”

Even though it is still early with offers, Crawford understands that both of these programs bring him tremendous opportunities both academically and athletically.  For UNCW, he is familiar with the program because his mother and other family members had graduated from there.  But he wants to learn more about each and what they have to bring to the table.

As far as his game and what the staff likes about his game on the court…

“They liked how athletic I was on the court and how well I can shoot the ball, create for myself, and for my teammates,” he replied.

Crawford also mentioned that he has been receiving interest from schools like Elon, Georgia State, Charlotte, and George Mason.
