Name: Brandon Murray
School: LSU
Class: Freshman

2020-21: Though a freshman, Murray had a very strong campaign to start his college career at LSU, averaging 10 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game while shooting 42 percent from the court and 34 percent from three.

Murray is going to be an interesting target in the transfer portal, as I personally think he should and will be highly coveted by college programs all over the country.   Watching Murray in high school, one could see that he brought a unique scoring power to the table, along with his college-ready frame and his athleticism.  He only continued to get better as a freshman at LSU, as he earned plenty of minutes (averaged 31 minutes per game) this past season.  At 6'5, 215-pounds, Murray brings a lot to the table and we have a strong feeling that he will be a focal piece for another program that will certainly be a go-to scorer in the future.

What Was Said By Phenom Hoops:

'Murray has been a name that we have heard of before on several occasions but we finally got a chance to watch him in person with Phenom Hoops. And he seemed unstoppable on the court, as he had everyone's eyes on him. With a terrific blend of size, skill, bounce, and scoring power, you don't always see that mixture in a player's game and he was relentless. A 6'5, 225-pound prospect finished with power and authority at the rim, being exceptional when out and running but also showing his confidence from scoring on all levels. At times, he looked unstoppable and he is going to bring another scoring power to LSU.' – Patrick O'Brien in 2021
