Loughry put on a scoring clinic last weekend. Tough shotmaker. Lethal triple threat threat-scoring machine. He dazzled us with explosive and crafty moves to make huge shots to carry his team to a nice win. He moved the ball extremely important well in transition.  The contact didn’t slow him down. Tight defense couldn’t contain him. Loughry played like a man among boys. Catch and shoot ability is incredible to behold. But he is explosive off the bounce and a fierce finisher. Nasty mid-range game but that defense is equally impressive.

Loughry singles out the best player on the opposite team and makes it his mission to lock him down. His biggest improvement was his confidence in handling the ball effectively. Last season, he averaged 14 points per game while shooting a blistering 41 percent from three, making 61 of them. This helped his team win the first district title since 1998.

Loughry’s goal for this upcoming season is to repeat as district champions and make a serious run at the state chip while earning all-district, region, and state honors. Brett has elevated his game over the summer to do just that. What coaches should know is this long guard can handle that rock well and deliver a college-ready shot right now and is one of the hardest workers in the gym. Brett brings fire and passion with his skills which any coach can depend on. Offensively and defensively, this star is a game-changer.
