The second game of day 2 saw the Devonte Graham semifinal matchup between Holly Springs and Southern Durham. The Hawks started out the game hot and a Collin Kuhl and-1 with 25 seconds left gave them a 17-12 lead after 1. A balanced attack from the Spartans allowed them to grab the lead momentarily before going into halftime down 27-28. Holly Springs' Collin Kuhl led all scorers with 12 points while Southern Durham had four players with either 5 or 6 points. The Spartans dominated in transition, outscoring the Hawks 10-2 in first-half fastbreak points.

In the second half, Southern Durham continued their balanced attack and, combined with Holly Springs foul trouble, took control of the lead for the majority of the third quarter and went into the fourth up 44-41. Big contributions from Cameron Fletcher and D'dric Rogers allowed the Spartans to open up a 13-point lead with just over five minutes to play. Holly Springs chipped away at the lead and found themselves down 3 with under 3 minutes to play. After a handful of fouls by the Hawks, Southern Durham held on to win 63-56.
