2027 Cannon DeBerry (Olympic):
DeBerry is a player that we have had a limited viewing of but is one that could be of interest as a young prospect. He has good size and there is a lot of appeal to his game. Our own Jeff Bendel summed it up nicely watching him at the LIVE Period, where he had this to say. “’27 Cannon Deberry (Olympic) has so much appeal. Young but already making an impact through his motor, defense, and rebounding presence. Moves well for his size and looks to make hustle plays whenever possible. One to monitor going forward.”
2027 Charles Chienggan-Pur (Burlington Christian):
Chienggan-Pur has been a noteworthy prospect that we have watched on several occasions this summer, and there is a lot to like about the 6’9 prospect early on. He has the length, the size, and the fluidity that you like for a player at his age, and he understands where he can flourish. With his frame, he does a nice job of being a presence on both ends, running rim to rim, blocking shots, and showing to have a quality feel to the game that should only continue to develop as he gets older and stronger.
2027 CP Perry (Carson):
Perry has been a player on the Phenom platform on multiple occasions, and we are excited to see what he can do this coming year for Carson. He is a high IQ guard that plays with a ton of poise and under control, while also showing his understanding of the game at an early age. Perry knows how to run the show, score and create, make smart decisions, set the tone, and plays with tremendous pace/control. Expect his name to pop up a lot more in the coming years.
2027 Hector Garrido-Perez (Cedar Ridge):
Garrido-Perez is a player who has performed well and has been consistent all summer long, so he will be a young player to see how he continues to develop, adjust to the next level, and see what kind of impact he can bring early on. Nothing too flashy for this forward, but Garrido-Perez knows how to bring a consistent presence inside the paint, remain active and engaged, he competes on the boards, and finishes well through contact as well as battling with opponents.
