What a journey it has been watching 2024 Rakease Passmore grow into the player he has so far, but the story isn't close to ending any time soon.  But, now watching him snag big offer after big offer, it is fun to just look back at the growth this young has made when we first spoke about him with no offers to where he is today.

It is coming up on almost two years when we wrote about Passmore when we viewed him at a game, where AC Reynolds took on Erwin.' He immediately grabbed our attention and was blown away by what this young man was doing on the court; his athleticism, his feel, his explosiveness, and his ability to lead the charge at such a young age.

Phenom Game Report: Erwin vs. AC Reynolds

It was clear he was something special, which is why we couldn't wait to see what he would do the following summer.  At a young age, he certainly had the appeal of college coaches and since that summer, his recruitment has taken off and it doesn't seem to be looking back any time soon.

When you look at Passmore's game though, you quickly understand why schools are flocking his way.  He continues to have that explosive nature to his game, rattling the rim and flying through the air effortlessly but he has only added more to his game in just a short time. When we first met Passmore, he was more on the quieter side as a young prospect but over time, you can see that everything is starting to click and he is understanding more of how to be that alpha player on the court.  But what is scary to think is that there could be even more left in the tank with his development.

When talking about his game, Passmore can do a little bit of everything. His athleticism is still there, he finishes with power, is tremendous out in transition, and is showing that he can be a multi-level scorer and a playmaker. He is showing more of his ability to create for himself, use his size and versatility more on both ends, and continues to shoot the ball well from outside (shot 41 percent from three last season).

Now, what could be a gamechanger for this young man is that he will be playing at Combine Academy, where the elevation of competition will be much greater and the stage will be bigger.  He was able to dominate at AC Reynolds but he will be going up against big-time talent at Combine, and that should only elevate his game even more.

It feels like not long ago when we introduced Passmore on Phenom Hoops after his game and in such a quick time, Passmore has exploded on the national stage and is now holding 17 offers and counting.' As we said nearly two years ago: 'This is a freshman with a ton of talent and is going to be a big-time target for many programs.'

That seems to be coming true and the future could be even scarier as he only continues to develop.
