We've seen a lot of players come through our doors over the years, varying in appearance, skill level, and everything in between. We decided to put forth a series on some players who have attended events over the past few years but still remain on the lesser-known side of things. Each of these prospects embody being a student-athlete and getting it done in the classroom as well as on the basketball court, and today's edition will take a closer look at Terrence Johnson of Liberty Heights.

We've seen Johnson throughout the years, including last summer with Team Loaded and during our Team Camp. During our Phenom Opening, we stated, 'Few players have been more intriguing than Johnson, especially during the early afternoon set of games. He's long, wiry, and very athletic, which allows him to cause problems and play well above the rim in transition. Johnson showed the ability to step out and knock down perimeter shots at a decent clip, which adds an entirely new dimension to his game and notably raises his long-term ceiling.'The following showing at our Team Camp, 'This Moravian team is loaded even without all of their pieces, which makes it easy to see how Johnson could become a nice long-term contributor for this squad. He's a high-level athlete with impressive length and a wiry frame. Johnson has been shooting the ball at an efficient clip from beyond the arc throughout the weekend, which is extremely encouraging for his continued growth.'

Despite constant flashes of intrigue, Johnson never looked fully comfortable in his role last season. He played in a fairly deep frontcourt, but will have the opportunity to ultimately take the next step within his progression. Johnson is a long, ridiculously explosive forward prospect with a quality motor and the ability to stretch the floor from beyond the arc. He's continually gotten more consistent as a scoring threat over the last calendar year, but still embraces his foundation of toughness and interior presence. Johnson is very active on the glass and understands how to utilize his length to secure rebounds and block shots from the weak side. He runs the floor properly in transition and is a constant threat to meet opponents at the rim. With a new role and supporting cast, there's really nothing preventing Johnson from having a massive upcoming season.
