Phenom Hoops went out on Sunday afternoon to check out Team HOPE and their media day, as they brought in multiple teams to give us a glimpse of players we will be seeing all summer long. We take at a look at the two 2023 teams Team Hope will be having this season.
Team HOPE 2023 Laney
One of two 2023 teams, Team Hope 2023 Laney has some very intriguing talent to watch for. 2023 Dallas Gardner had a tremendous season at Myers Park and will be a do-it-all type guard for this program this year, as he hopes to make a bigger name this offseason. 2023 Michael Nesbit and 2023 Nick Dorn are two long prospects to watch; Dorn is a big guard that initates the offense well, works well in transition, and plays with a nice IQ. Nesbit, the young brother of Bryson Nesbit, is a developing prospect that plays well on and off the ball, and is actve on the court. Really liked 2023 Michael Wilson, as he plays with a smooth feel but showed to be a 3-level scorer and makes the right decision on the court. 2023 Patrick Tivnan is a big that moves well and is comfortable being effective around the rim or stepping out, while others will certainly be attractive names and fill their roles on the court. This is a team that has talent and should be one to mark down to watch this summer for sure.

Team HOPE 2023 McGee
The other 2023 team, Team Hope-McGee has a nice balance on the floor.' They have plays that bring intrigue with their length, as 2023 Kaleb Parker has a nice athleticism and passes the eye test but is a developing prospect to keep an eye on. 2023 Hunter Hinson brings good size as well around the paint.' Brandon Betances showed a nice feel scoring the ball but also making high IQ decisions on the floor. Then you had others like Lucas Fortune, Jared Haymore, Danny Stevens, and Nolan Dunphy all played a key role on the floor.' This is a team that doesn't necessarily have one player that can take over the game but more of a team that has a team-mentality and shares the ball really well on the floor.
