The 15u Bronze Championship game turned out to be somewhat of a one sided affair as Team Hickory faced off against The Durham Hurricanes. This Team Hickory bunch is comprised of a lot of versatile athletes. 1-5 can all handle and shoot the rock. 6’3 lefty guard Zane Redmon showed his defensive ability early on scoring 6 of his 13 points off of steals. Team Hickory was flying all over the court forcing turnovers and forcing the Hurricanes into tough shots. The Hurricanes just couldn’t find any offense against this long, athletic Team Hickory team. Jeovian Ikard took away MVP honors scoring 5 points and ended with 3 steals in the game. 6’3 guard Anthony Breland also impressed with a shot package beyond his years scoring from all three levels in a variety of ways. Team Hickory won the game 71-30 over the Durham Hurricanes.
