Team Blessed (TX) has been a program Phenom Hoops has been taking notice of a lot more over the last two years, as each year they continue to bring new names to our radar and for college coaches to look out for. It was great to see them last year and they continued that trend this year in Raleigh, as this is a team that has college-worthy players to learn about.

Here are a few players we enjoyed watching and certainly put their names on our radars.

2025 6’4 Jamari Jackson

Jackson was fun to watch when he was on the court, as he plays with a terrific motor and high energy and it is hard not to notice him. He is physical and assertive with his attack, finishing strong through defenders but can also put you on a poster with his athleticism.  Time after time when he played, Jackson was a workhorse on the floor.

2025 5’10 Jlyn Jenkins

Jenkins was one that just brought a scrappy and fighting mentality to the court. The young man competed on both sides of the floor, was able to make plays for others and facilitate, and just be a pure-energy guy who had a good showing offensively and defensively.

2025 6’9 Tobias Pike

Pike was a very intriguing forward to watch all throughout the event and he certainly should have walked away impressing college coaches. Pike, a 6’9 prospect, brought a strong skillset to the table with his game. Fundamentally sound, was able to be an anchor down in the paint offensively, finished with touch, and showed good hands on the glass. But was also able to run the floor well, step out and stretch the floor, and show that he had good handles as well at times. Really liked his blend of touch and strength on the court.

2025 6’4 Parker Evanson

Not getting a chance to watch Evanson before, he certainly was one that left a mark on our scouts and college coaches. Evanson has a terrific blend of shot-making ability and size at 6’4, and he plays with a ton of confidence. He does a great job in creating opportunities for himself off the dribble, plays off the ball and can knock down shots in catch-and-shoot situations, has a high IQ feel for the game, and has terrific range.  Loved his overall feel and ability to open up the offense with his shot.

2025 6’7 Brendan Ballard

Ballard was an intriguing player to watch. He has the length and was skilled for his size/position. He did not need to be the focal point to be productive on the court, as he was able to shine in a variety of roles for his team and just make things happen when the opportunity was there.  Spaces the floor well, good overall feel, and can bring value to several positions on the court.
