The Phenom Winter Nationals brought a ton of young talent to the courts over the weekend, as we saw several players around the region that will certainly be names to remember.  Teams like Team United, Team Charlotte, CP3, and others introduced new names to the court, but we also had a great chance to learn a few new names from around South Carolina with Team USC 2027 Premier under head coach Robert McCray.

Our very own Jeff Bendel said this:

“Always exciting to watch Team USC and getting to see the next wave of notable young players from South Carolina. Coach McCray consistently puts together a high-level group that can compete with any opponent, and this squad certainly fits that bill.”

Roster:
2028 5’9 Ayden Leith
2027 6’3 Jeremy Rabbit Anderson
2027 6’2 Robert DJ Wylie
2027 5’10 James Smith
2027 5’9 Milton McCray
2027 5’7 Samaje Goban
2027 6’0 Josh Davis
2027 5’11 Peyton Jennings
2027 6’2 Joshua Van Keller
2027 5’10 Chris Horton
2027 5’9 Levon Tre Smith

When watching them, this is a young group that certainly proved themselves against some of the best, they competed extremely well, and they will be names you will want to watch out for down the road. Here are a few things that were said about the young prospects, but this is a roster to

2027 Levon Smith is highly physical with all the tools to control both sides of the ball, a get-in-your-space kind of defender that plays with his chest and moves his feet, knows how to use his body and finish through contact.

2028 Ayden Leith is a shifty guard that can knock down shots but can score in other ways as well.

2027 Jeremy Anderson is a versatile 6’3 prospect that has nice size and skill set; showed he can be effective from multiple levels.

2027 James Smith is a 5’10 prospect is a strong prospect that is able to get downhill and finish strong.

2027 Chris Horton is a guard that plays with pace and sees the floor well.

2027 Milton McCray is one to keep an eye on, as the guard knows how to make plays with the ball in his hands and has the DNA backing him up as well.
