Though the recruiting timeline for the Class of 2023 is quickly closing, there are still so many players out there for college coaches and programs to look at. One player that Lady Phenom would love to spotlight is 2023 Ja'Kea Brunson from Wayne Country Day.
Want to talk about the definition of consistency, Brunson defines just that. She is coming off a senior campaign that helped her team finish 27-2 and she averaged 17.8ppg. In fact, she has averaged 18.0ppg throughout her entire career, and she is a proven winner.

Brunson is one that simply produces and has done so every year on the court. She can score in a variety of ways, knock down shots from behind the arc (40 percent from three overall), gets to the line well, and simply understands the game. Which is why more schools should be looking her way. Right now though, credit the schools that have offered; Bluefield, Fayetteville State, Chowan, David and Elkins, Mount Olive, and Lees-McRae have all extended an offer.
But make sure you check her out before it is too late! She could be a great addition to any program.
