It's been a rapid ascent for Schwieger, just this time last year not many (if any) had heard of him. Fast forward a year, he has college coaches at just about all of his high school games and carries over 10 offers.

Schwieger is a versatile player, a big bodied point guard who has good vision and a presence on the court. He rebounds his position very well and is very crafty in and around the lane.

2017 PSB Select guard Ryan Schwieger gave Phenom Hoop Report a preview for the 2016 Summer Havoc (July 7-10)

PHR: What are you most looking forward to at the Summer Havoc'

Schwieger: I look forward to playing against the best competition for sure. Phenom Hoop Report always gets the best players/teams from this area and has great events.

PHR: What are some of your strengths and what do you plan on working on this summer'

Schwieger: I'd say my strengths are things like basketball IQ, passing, and I have really good court vision. I've got to work on being more explosive, defending, and you can always get more shots up.

Schwieger carries offers from Duquesne, George Mason, Charlotte, Northeastern, Princeton, Dartmouth, Coastal Carolina, Appalachian St, Willam & Mary, Lehigh, and Presbyterian. With many coaches still not having seen him, he will be a very popular name during the Summer Havoc.
